Located in Houston, Parker Intermediate School serves more than 1,100 students in grades five and six. The school s facilities include a library and media center, computer laboratory, art room, music room, gymnasium, locker rooms, remedial reading and math rooms, gifted and talented classroom and more than 30 regular classrooms. In addition, it has a cafeteria, playground, track, special education classrooms, primary project rooms, and psychologist's and social workers' offices. The school offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as chorus, downhill skiing, safety patrol, intramurals and student council. Parker Intermediate School is a part of the Aldine Independent School District.
