Founded in 1963, Parkside Middle School operates under the Prince William County School District, and provides educational programs to more than 1,200 students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes fine and performing arts, business, English, family and consumer science, math, science and social science. The school also offers classes in industrial and technical education and computer applications. It offers special education programs to physically and mentally challenged students. It offers various extracurricular activities, such as music, arts, drama, games and sports. It organizes various events and activities.
