J. H. Parrish, Sr., the founder of Parrish Tire, began serving the Winston-Salem, N.C.-community in 1946 with one retail tire store and one small retread shop. The company remained a small, local tire dealership until 1972 when J. H. Parrish, Jr. became president of the company. From that time, Parrish Tire expanded its operations from exclusively retail and commercial tire sales to include wholesale distribution of tires throughout the world. Parrish Tire employs more than 350 individuals in 5 retail stores, 6 commercial locations, 2 retread plants and its wholesale and private brand businesses working all over the globe.
