Parsons Elementary School offers education to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Its academic curriculum includes mathematics, science and social studies. The school has been operational for more than 40 years and also provides education to students with various learning disabilities. Parsons Elementary School is a part of the Lubbock Independent School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. The district provides a range of sports activities that include football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, tennis and soccer. The district also operates a technology center that provides courses in a range of disciplines, such as automotive technology, automobile repair, desktop publishing, 3-D computer graphics and networking technologies.
