In 1967, I was first licensed to sell life and health insurance. My first year I was named "rookie of the year" for Prudential Insurance (Western Region). The following year I became a "broker" and qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table.
In the 1970's, I primarily sold funded life insurance combined with Mutual Funds. In the 1980's, I expanded into the administration of self-insured health insurance and 401K and employer sponsored cafeteria plans. I specialized in auto dealers and restaurants in Southern California.
In 1990, I joined Barry Kaye Associates as an independent broker and specialized in senior estate planning. Each year I qualified for the Top of the Table. My largest sale was for $150,000,000 on the founder of E-Trade.
I am closely associated with Total Financial Insurance Services, Inc., an NFP Company. Marty Greenberg at Total Financial is my Master General Agent with about 50 carriers. Patterson Life is one of his top ten producers nationally with more than three billion dollars of life insurance in force. In addition, in 2010, I became a satellite agency for the New York Life Insurance Company.
I am a member of the Top of the Table(TOT) of the Million Dollar Round Table, National Association of Financial and Insurance Advisors (NAIFA) and Safari Club International.
I live in Marina del Rey, California with my wife Roseann and 21 year old son David. I have five daughters, 10 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. We are members of the ABCs - Associates for Breast & Prostate Cancer Studies associated with the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica.
