Her main focus is on teaching people how to train their own dogs in order to achieve lasting, effective results. Sasha has a wealth of experience and knowledge not only in companion animal training, but also in obedience trials, agility competitions and show handling. Over the years, she has worked extensively with various non-profit animal adoption agencies, taking on the most challenging animals and turning them into model canine citizens! "I would like to see obedience training be a vital part of every dog's and dog owner's life", she says. "You still hear from time to time, 'oh, she is really a good dog, she doesn't need to be trained'. True as it might seem, but we wouldn't think of not educating our human children -- whether they are well-behaved or not. Training of our family dogs should be no different, and when treated as a necessity, not a luxury, will result in better behaved, well-adjusted and overall happier dogs who live in complete harmony with their people." After being a part of a larger dog training company for over 10 years, Sasha made a decision to open her own business. Paw Prints Pet Services was originated in early 2002, and it has been at its current location since July 2004. Sasha and her family of six cats, five dogs and an ever-varied number of foster pets live in sunny Tucson, Arizona. She is a tireless driving force behind Paw Prints, and her animals help her greatly in her everyday work. Today, Paw Prints Pet Services offers a compete array of companion obedience programs, including early puppy education, training for adult dogs, troubleshooting, problem solving, socialization and behavioral rehabilitation (for the most determined of the four-legged troublemakers!) We also stock a wide variety of dog training products, leads, collars, treats and toys. Our air-conditioned, clean and beautifully decorated indoor training studio provides a wonderful environment for learning, and is conveniently located in the very center of town.
