William R Penton, owner of Penton Insurance, began selling insurance in 1982 for Colonial Life and Kemper Life Insurance. Soon after that he started working with a property casualty agency. He worked with that agency until 1987 when he moved to Utah and started his own agency with Preferred Risk Group. In 2002 he opened up an independent office expanding with the number of companies he represents. Most people look for a low price, that's the wrong way to buy insurance.
