Phoenix-Lamar manufactures custom electrical cables, wire harnesses and related assemblies. It is an Underwriters Laboratory and CSA approved house. Clients include manufacturers of computers and computer support systems, telecommunication companies and applied geographical groups. The manufacturing group can produce large production runs and prototype quantities. The shop features a variety of pneumatic and electric terminating equipment from AMP, TRW, Berg, Molex, Midland Ross and Panduit. The company has an Arburg plastic injection-molding unit for over molding of assemblies and related applications. Continuity test equipment from Cablescan, P-Tronics and Cirris Electronics is used to provide 100 percent electrical testing on each job. Visual and dimensional inspection is also performed along with intermediate assembly testing where applicable.
