Pierce County Security is one of the oldest and largest private security companies in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1927, it provides security officers, both armed and unarmed, under contract to businesses, local and state government agencies and individuals in Washington. The private company s security personnel are trained to a level that goes beyond state requirements. Pierce County Security is divided into patrols services, guard services, alarm response and background investigation divisions. It has hundreds of officers, both part-time and full-time.
