For the last 40-plus years, Pine Island Sportswear has had a reputation for producing some the best garments in the imprinted sportswear market. Now its garments are known as the last to be sewn in America. Pine Island produces knit shirts for consumer brands, private labels and its own proprietary labels. The company s brands are separated into three lines P.I. Sport, Concepts and Pine Island and are available for men, women and kids. Pine Island produces approximately 90 percent of its knit shirts at its 80,000-square-foot sewing plant in Monroe, N.C. The remaining shirts are imported, but are still subject to intense quality standards.
