Pinewood Elementary School, located in Orlando, Fla., enrolls more than 700 students and provides academic education to students in grades kindergarten through five. The school provides basic education in English, mathematics, geography, fine arts, and emphasizes on reading, writing and communication skills. It organizes enrichment and logical thinking activities. Pinewood Elementary School has a library that provides a large collection of curriculum, adventure, fiction and nonfiction books, such as Acids and Bases, Abraham Lincoln, Adventure in Legoland and Alexander the Great. It also offers basic education in computer applications and access to the Internet. The school is a part of the Orange County School District.
