In 1976, developer Jerry Nelson founded Pinnacle Peak Country Club. It is the first private golf facility in North Scottsdale and is member owned. Pinnacle Peak has an 18-hole golf course with bunkers, lakes, landscaped rock falls and lighted water fountain. There is also an on-site golf shop, operated by a professional golf staff, as well as a cocktail lounge, banquet hall, fitness center and tennis courts. Membership is limited to 325 family or single memberships. There are five types of membership: regular, senior, senior associate, junior and prospective. Pinnacle Peak Country Club is located north of Phoenix along Pinnacle Peak Road in Scottsdale, Ariz.
