Plum Creek Academy, also known as PCA, is a special education center that has been providing a range of educational programs to students with special needs for more than 15 years. It serves as an interim placement for students who transition from residential treatment centers and hospital settings to the school district. Plum Creek Academy has an enrollment of over 40 students in grades 5 through 12. Its curriculum features classes in a variety of subjects, such as psychology, computer education, social studies, math, science, and language and fine arts. The academy also administers art, speech language pathology and occupational therapy programs. It has been governed by the Douglas County School District since 1993. Plum Creek Academy is located in Littleton, Colo.
