Established in 1975, the Pluta Cancer Center is a nonprofit center that provides medical and radiation oncology services. It specializes in the treatment of a variety of diseases, including gastrointestinal tumors and colorectal and lung cancers. The center also offers treatment services for head, neck, gynecological, breast, prostate, lymph nodes and blood cancers. The Pluta Cancer Center uses MammoSite, brachytherapy and intensity modulated radiation therapy technologies for the treatment of cancer. Additionally, it provides massage therapy, nutrition counseling and support services. The center is located in Rochester, N.Y.
