Polly's Bakery Cafe began in 1968 as a little space in Fullerton, Calif., called Polly s Pie Palace. It served just pies, coffee and sandwiches. But it was a hit. The company ventured into a second location in Orange, Calif., then a third in Long Beach, Calif., a fourth in Santa Ana, Calif., a fifth in Whittier, and now there are 13 Polly s in Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties. What makes Polly s unique? For starters, each and every Polly s bakes from scratch and bakes in its own ovens all the loaves of bread, muffins, cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls, corn bread, cookies, and pies that it sells. And Polly s breakfast, lunch and dinner menus have a range of entrees, from old time favorites to created-just-for-Polly s specials. After more than 40 years in the foodservice business, Polly s attributes its success to the loyalty of its guests. Polly s has a location in Laguna Hills, Calif.
