Ponus News Feed Ponus Yacht Club, founded in 1911, has been a staple on the western branch of the Stamford harbor for 98 years. club has matured over the years but the basic premise is the same. The Ponus is a place for hard working middle class men, women and their families come to socialize and share their enthusiasm for boating, fishing, and the current events of the day. Though a private club with over 400 members from the tri-state area, club is open to the public the majority of the year. We invite you to come down and have a look around or just join us at the bar for a drink. club boasts a waterfront deck for lunch or an afternoon cocktail. We serve lunch seven days of the week, a pub menu on Thursday evenings, and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. We also offer a range of catering options in our banquet hall. Feel like traveling by boat, we have dock and dine slips available to accommodate yachts as large as 100 feet. Whatever your mood or occasion The Ponus has something for everyone and all occasions.
