Established in 1892, Portland Art Museum is located in Portland, Ore. The museum s collection includes works of European painting and sculpture, American painting and sculpture, silver, Asian art, Native American art, pre-Columbian art, Cameroon and other African art, contemporary art, sculpture, prints and drawings and photography. It offers various programs, such as art making programs, art X, councils, evenings for educators, family drop-ins, family tours and member events. Its other programs include midday art breaks, museum after hours, museum family Sundays, programs and lectures, public tours and special events. Its museum store offers cards, art books, posters, CDs, jewelry, personal, tabletop accessories and a variety of wonderful children s gifts and books. Portland Art Museum also has a caf and library.
