Indiana University School of Medicine s Department of Urology offers a range of health care services. Founded in 1910, the department is one of the oldest urology departments in the United States. It specializes in the surgical treatment of pediatric and adult urologic disorders. The Department of Urology treats impotency, incontinence, testis tumors, urinary stone diseases and urologic malignancies. The department offers services in the areas of laparoscopy, reconstructive surgery and endourology. It conducts reconstructive surgeries for neuropathic bladders, genital disorders, and intersex and cloacal abnormalities. The Department of Urology has more than 10 physicians. In addition, it offers home care and urinary tract reconstruction solutions.
