Power Construction concentrates on five customer markets that include corporate, developer, health care, hotel and education. Within these markets, the range of project types includes acute care, outpatient, office, data, distribution, light industrial, classroom or training, research and development/laboratory, condominium, apartment, hotel, senior living, fitness, retail, library, museum and structured parking facilities. Power measures success in terms of whether or not it s exceeded the expectations of customers, architects and subcontractors. It measures the level with a custom feedback tool called the Project Performance Evaluation, which is a survey that is given to clients during the project life cycle. Power is a management-owned company that works primarily in the Chicago area. Jerome Goldstein, a graduate of Armour Institute of Technology, founded the company in 1926, which is headquartered in Schaumburg, Ill.
