Founded in 1832, Pressley Ridge Central Maryland is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The organization offers innovative programs in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia and Delaware. It employs more than 1,000 staff members who serves over 1,800 children and families everyday. Pressley Ridge Central Maryland offers foster care services, including individual residential treatment, family-based shelter, adoption-related and respite care. The organization provides residential services, including a wilderness camp, small group facilities and campuses, and supervised independent and transitional living. In addition, it offers community-based services, including intensive case management, therapeutic social groups, family-based mental health and family preservation services.
