The Prestera Center for Mental Health Services has been providing the supportive programs of behavioral health care since 1967. With more than 50 locations, it serves Cabell, Mason, Lincoln, Wayne, Putnam, Boone, Clay and Kanawha counties in West Virginia. The Prestera Center for Mental Health Services in-home services program serves children between the ages of 5 and 18. Its ACT Team offers community-based rehabilitative services to individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. The services provided by the ACT Team include assertive outreach, recovery-oriented treatment planning and oversight, counseling, and medication and behavioral management. In addition, the center s FACES program includes individual and family counseling, parent and family resource education, advocacy, and crisis and supportive intervention services.
