Provident's Counseling Division provides a variety of services throughout Illinois. It works to increase client self-sufficiency and productivity, decrease suffering and mental anguish, create safe family environment and strengthen individuals and families. The division uses solution-focused therapy services that focus on solutions of problems and failures. Provident's Counseling Division handles issues related to depression, addiction, anger management, and sexual, physical and emotional abuse. It is comprised of social workers, psychologists, family therapists and counselors. The division is a part of Provident, which supports various community-based programs and services to provide safe environment and family skills development. Provident is located in St. Louis, Mo.
