Located in Savannah, Ga., Haven Elementary School is a Title I school that provides educational opportunities to more than 350 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Founded in 1963, it provides instruction in reading, art, music, science, social studies, physical education and mathematics. Haven Elementary School offers Reading First, accelerated reader and special education programs. The school involves students in various academic and extracurricular programs, including band, keyboarding, chorus, Odyssey of the Mind and field trips.
