Established in 1974, Qualis Health is one of the leading health care quality improvement organizations (QIOs) in the United States. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, the organization serves as Medicare's quality improvement organization (QIO) in Idaho and Washington State. It offers its care management, quality improvement/assessment and health services research to a wide range of Federal, state and private customers. Qualis Health has several clients that include health care providers, health plans, employers, Taft-Hartley union trusts, commercial insurers, third party administrators, brokers and benefit consultants.
