As part of Randstad Professionals, Accountants International offers clients and candidates the benefits of a local focus enhanced by a global presence. Accountants Inc. and Acsys, Inc begin to operate under the same Vedior umbrella but retain their distinct company names. Acsys, Inc is formed by merging seven specialty accounting and finance staffing companies under one brand name. Select Appointments (Holdings) Limited acquires Accountants Inc and AccountPros. The two companies continued to operate under their separate names until 2009, when they merged with Acsys, Inc to become Accountants International. AccountPros founded in Boston, MA to provide executive search and contract solutions for accounting and finance professionals. Accountants Inc opens its first office in San Francisco, CA. The brand quickly expanded in cluster markets throughout California within the same year.
