Red Bank Elementary School, located in Lexington, S.C., is a public coeducational institution providing early education services to students in grades kindergarten to four. It offers courses in math, English, music, art and physical education teachers. Additionally, it provides psychologists, nurses, guidance counselors, technology, arts and wellness programs. The school also offers various sports and extracurricular activities. Its Special Olympics program offers persons with mental retardation opportunities to learn skills, gain competency through practice, and to compete in a wide variety of sports. Red Bank Elementary opened in l980 and is approved by the State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
