Red Elementary School is an educational institution that is a part of the Houston Independent School District, which is one of the largest school districts in the United States with a total enrollment of more than 202,000 students in over 285 schools. The school offers academic programs to nearly 475 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Red Elementary School employs a staff of approximately 35 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals who conduct educational classes in a variety of subjects. Its core curriculum includes reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, English, computer applications, art, music, and health and physical education.
