Redan Middle School provides a range of general academic programs to more than 950 students in grades six through eight. It conducts classes in language arts, science, math and social studies. The school s facilities include a computer writing center, technology education laboratory, business education classroom and media center. It operates a parent-teacher-student association that conducts several fundraising events and programs. The school also has drama, Spanish and science clubs. It organizes a variety of athletic activities that includes football, basketball, and track and field. Redan Middle School additionally administers Title I programs. It is a part of the DeKalb County School System, which governs various educational institutions.
