Located in St. Louis, Reed Elementary School serves more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five and employs over 40 staff members. It offers classes in mathematics, writing, reading and science. The school also offers various special education classes. Its library provides a collection of fiction, nonfiction and reference books. Reed Elementary School serves afternoon meals that include fruit, toast, rolls, vegetables, burgers and salads. The school also offers classroom guidance lessons to promote students emotional, social, academic and career growth. It provides counseling on a variety of topics, such as anger management, friendship, grief and loss and study skills. Its Reed School Association sponsors several events, such as book fairs and field trips. Reed Elementary School is a part of the Ladue School District.
