Reed Academy of Engineering is a magnet school located in Houston. It provides a variety of courses to meet the physical, mental, moral and educational needs of students in grade five and six. The academy offers architectural, mechanical and aerospace engineering courses. Reed Academy of Engineering also offers a robotic exploration program that offers information on predesigned robots. Its aerospace engineering courses focus on airplanes, rockets and forces that act on flying objects. The academy s mechanical engineering classes teach the fundamentals of machines and motion. Reed Academy of Engineering is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and is a part of the Aldine Independent School District.
