About RHA Resort Hotel Association ( RHA ) is a not-for-profit, member-managed insurance association that specializes in providing insurance programs that address the risks unique to independent hotels, resorts and spas. RHA is owned and governed solely by association members. These members, recognizing their strength as a collective, benefit from the association's group buying power. Founded in 1987 by ten members of the Resort Committee of the American Hotel & Lodging Association ( AH&LA ), RHA's membership now includes 127 properties in 30 states.
