We are a group of ophthalmologists who have undergone additional years of specialty training in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries involving the back of the eye, especially the retina.
What to expect on your first visit:
Examination of the retina and the posterior segment of the eye requires dilation of the pupil. Many patients experience difficulty with bright light, driving and reading for several hours after having their eyes dilated. Please bring a driver with you to your exam so that your return home will be safe and comfortable.
New patient visits frequently require one to two hours. If additional testing and treatment are required, then the visit can take even longer. Please plan your visit accordingly. We will do our best to accomplish as much as possible during each visit. Feel free to let us know if you have any scheduling conflicts and we will do all that we can to reschedule your visit.
We thank you for allowing us to help with your eye care needs and look forward to serving you.
