Rhodes College enrolls more than 1,670 students from over 10 countries. It provides a range of undergraduate programs in the areas of anthropology, sociology, biology, English and religious studies. The college operates Paul Barret, Jr. Library, which offers a collection of books and periodicals. It provides several sports activities, such as cross-country, volleyball, soccer, and track and field. Operational since 1848, the college maintains a more than 95-acre facility. It operates chess and art clubs, as well as performance groups. The college also manages political science, psychology and theatre departments. Rhodes College offers interdisciplinary programs in the fields of neuroscience and archaeology.
