Rockford East High School is a college-preparatory school that offers educational classes to students in grades nine through 12. It offers a range of sports activities, such as volleyball, football, tennis, soccer, cross country, golf, basketball, wrestling and bowling. The school offers academic classes in business, information technology, math, science, social studies, physical education, computer skills and arts. It has a booster club, which is a group of parents, staff, alumni and friends that organizes a variety of fundraising events to support school. The school offers a natural helper program to improve the health of young people through peer listening and education. Rockford East High School is governed by the Rockford Public School District and is located in Rockford, Ill.
