Rockford Board of Education offers a range of administrative services. It is a part of the Rockford Public School District No. 205. The board manages the school district through various departments and services that include a school district organization, general school administration, operational services, and personnel, instruction, students and school relations departments. It provides services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. It has an academics and curriculum department that offers a variety of subjects, including world languages, art, business, computers, English, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. The board also organizes various extracurricular programs that include cross country, soccer, swimming, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, gymnastics, golf, tennis and track. It additionally offers special activities through clubs, including dance, community support and humanities clubs. It is located in Rockford, Ill.
