Rockledge Elementary School provides learning opportunities for more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school conducts academic classes in the areas of art, music, technology, reading, speech, and health and physical education. Rockledge Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that sponsors a range of parenting classes, outside speaker sessions and student activities. In addition, it offers a variety of special programs, such as gifted and talented, special education and English as a Second Language. It is a part of Prince William County Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Rockledge Elementary School has been operational since 1972 and is located in Woodbridge, Va.
