The Rosemount Center, established in 1972, is a bilingual Head Start and Early Head Start facility that serves more than 300 children and families in Washington, D.C. annually. The nonprofit center offers immunization assistance, nutritional, medical referral, prenatal, and developmental, dental, hearing and vision screening solutions. It also provides workshops that educate parents and teachers on emotional and psychological processes. The Rosemount Center administers a special needs intervention program that features speech language, physical and occupational therapies. In addition, it works to promote children's learning development in the areas of literacy, mathematics, science and social studies. The Rosemount Center offers access to immunizations.
