The curriculum is designed to cater to children who are seeking a fun, once a week class and those who desire a more intensive program that may lead them into a professional dance career. Our studio is not only proud of its reputation for developing strong dancers but also for creating an environment that promotes discipline, self-respect and respect for others. A unique introductory class designed to introduce children to dance and musical movement. This class provides the opportunity for parents to accompany and interact with their child in a fun, yet structured environment. A variety of props and different types of music are used during class. This class is so much fun and helps build social skills which includes following instruction, listening, dancing individually and dancing in pairs and groups. The class also helps to develop balance, coordination, poise and creative expression and fully prepares the child for the next level of class where they are independent of their parent. We offer our students the ability to take the skills that they learn with us and apply them in competition. Our competitive teams have won numerous awards in the areas of ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, and musical theater for ages 5 to 18 years.
