In my experience as a psychologist since 1978, working 22 years for the Veterans Administration and now in private practice, I am continually impressed by the strength and energy that ordinary people can have in overcoming difficult and often extra-ordinary emotional adjustment problems and life circumstances, along with the power of psychotherapy in helping them make important behavioral changes. My particular areas of interest and expertise in working with adolescents and adults include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), stress/anger management, marital and family therapy, grief counseling, disability adjustment, adolescent developmental and adjustment issues and sport psychology.
