Safe Harbor Behavioral Health is a private, nonprofit human service agency, established in 1993. It provides intensive outpatient psychiatric services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses; and 24-hour crisis intervention to individuals, experiencing a disturbance of mood, thought, emotion, behavior and social functioning. Safe Harbor Behavioral Health provides three primary services, including crisis, outpatient and wrap around. Its crisis service includes patients suffering from suicidal tendency, bereavement, family discord, situational stressors and substance abuse. Its outpatient services are provided to adults diagnosed with a mental illness and children diagnosed as having emotional disturbance. Its wrap around services are provided to children and their families who have been identified as having complex needs. The center is located in Erie, Pa.
