Savoy Grill, founded in 1903, is a part of Hotel Savoy, which is located in Kansas City, Kan. The restaurant has stained glass windows, high-beamed ceilings, lanterns and a carved oak bar. It offers a range of cold appetizers that includes Alaskan king crab cocktails, crab meat, shrimp cocktails, baked oysters and little neck clams. Savoy Grill also offers spinach, Caesar and asparagus salads. Additionally, the restaurant offers a variety of seafood dishes that includes broiled salmon, baked Boston scrod, broiled yellow fin tuna, saut ed flounder and fried Gulf Stream shrimp. It also offers steaks of sirloin, chicken breasts and lamb chops. The restaurant provides a range of desserts that includes cr me brulee, key lime pies, apple pies, cheesecakes, lemon tortes, chocolate mousse and strawberry sundaes. Savoy Grill was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
