Established in 1968, Scarborough High School offers classes in math, music, physical education, science and social studies. The school s curriculum includes courses in agricultural science, business studies and foreign languages. It also offers lessons in creative writing, industrial technology, finance and nutrition. Scarborough High School provides several athletic programs, such as football, soccer, cross-country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling and swimming. In addition, the school offers membership options for various clubs that support charitable activities and fundraisers. It has a library that houses various types of fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, and reference and reading materials. Scarborough High School provides wireless laptops for research and general computer needs. The school is governed by the Houston Independent School District.
