It gives both of us an opportunity to get to know each other. Establishing a good relationship is vital to achieving our common goals of improving and maintaining your dental health. For some patients, the first visit is an emergency or a specific urgent concern. If this is the case then of course we will attend to the emergency situation first and make you comfortable. Once a treatment plan has been proposed, you can receive a computerized printout of the involved treatment along with the associated fees. You can also receive a customized Financial Options form detailing the payment methods available through our office. Our overall goal is to provide you with the highest quality restorative and preventative dental care available. As a patient, we will sit down with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to help you reach your vision in coordination with your dental budget. We will make every attempt to do so but for some patients the time necessary will far exceed what is usually allotted. Experience has shown us that every patients needs are different. We cannot anticipate what kind of cleaning a patient needs or how much time is required without an examination. In order to provide the best treatment possible, the appropriate amount of time should be reserved for preventive care. After the first visit, cleaning and checkups will always be done at the same time.
