Seedorff Masonry was founded in 1957 in northeast Iowa. It offers clients a variety of masonry construction, restoration, repair and pre-construction design assistance. Many early projects included large schools and residence halls and an expanding market that included Dubuque, Iowa City and Des Moines, Iowa. Steady growth allowed the company to pursue projects in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Colorado, South Dakota and Nebraska. In 1984, Seedorff Masonry opened a regional office in Omaha, Neb., responsible for contracts in western Iowa and South Dakota, with specific emphasis on Omaha and Lincoln, Neb. In 1995, it established a regional office in Des Moines, responsible for contracts in southern and central Iowa. Engineering News-Record magazine ranked Seedorff Masonry among the largest masonry contractors in the United Sates in 2002.
