Located in Orlando, Fla., Senior Resource Alliance is a nonprofit organization and a local resource for accessing various services and programs of state and federal governments. Established in 1985, the organization offers assistance for senior citizens, their caregivers and family members. It serves in Brevard, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties in Florida. Senior Resource Alliance supports the Training for Assisted Living and Adult Family Care Home Providers program. The organization also supports Communities for a Lifetime (CFAL), which is a statewide program initiated by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. Senior Resource Alliance operates a geriatric assessment clinic that provides an evaluation of senior citizens health care needs.
