Since its inception in 1909, Shandon United Methodist Church has been committed to promoting the growth of the Christian community in Columbia, South Carolina and worldwide. Located in Columbia, S.C., it is one of the largest United Methodist Churches in South Carolina. The church conducts traditional and lifeline worship, along with worship for children, choral prayer, Sunday school, special assistance and inquirer classes. Additionally, it has been operating a Shandon United Methodist Preschool and Kindergarten, since 1952.
