Designed to unite a team of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants the Medical Group is focused on preventive care managing chronic disease. Dr. Martinez, raised in Redding holds a bachelor's of science degree from University of Notre Dame and a medical degree from University of California, Irvine. He began his medical career in 1989 in Southern California, returning to his hometown of Redding in 1999 where he has been in family practice for more than 25 years. Dr. Martinez has served as Chief of Staff at Shasta Regional Medical Center from 2008-2010 and Chief of Medicine from 2006-2007.
