Shorewood Intermediate School has an enrollment of more than 250 students in grades seven and eight. The school offers classes in social studies, English, math, science and history. It operates art, music and physical education departments. The Shorewood Intermediate School s foreign language course includes Spanish and Latin. The school provides a variety of sports activities, such as football, baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer and cross-country. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher organization that supports fundraising events and recreational activities. Shorewood Intermediate School has a library that stocks storybooks, magazines, journals, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. The school operates a guidance center that offers student counseling and career planning services.
