Located in Fairfax, Va., Lanier Middle School serves more than 900 students in grades seven and eight. Founded in 1960, it is operated by Fairfax County Public Schools and offers a wide variety of extracurricular and academic courses. The high school offers various academic courses, such as art, English, family and consumer science, foreign languages, health and physical education, mathematics, music, reading, science, social studies and technology education. It provides a wide variety of facilities, including an auditorium, a library, computer laboratories, fiber-optic cabling, cafeteria, lockers and playing fields.
