Sidwell Friends School, founded in 1883, is a nonprofit co-educational institution that enrolls more than 1,000 students in its lower, middle and upper schools. It offers education to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school s curriculum includes a number of subjects, including language arts, English, social studies, mathematics, science and physical education. It also has departments of music, computer and world languages. It provides a variety of facilities to students, such as an arts center, a library, gymnasiums, athletic fields, tennis courts and a track. It also has a store on the campus. Sidwell Friends School is located in Washington, DC and has another campus in Bethesda, Md.
